The billion dollar project "Oval Tech Park" sponsored by Mayer Investment Group was announced in April 2021. A tech oval ring for start-ups, but also for large companies such as Twitter, apple, etc... But also a FinTech incubator, the inGen laboratory and the headquarters of the successful Formula 1 team "Alpha Sport F1 Team".
The area for the oval was built and even the F1 team headquarters was completed. But since then there has not been any further construction. The topic is still being ignored by everyone involved. Nobody knows why. It is questionable whether the investors, above all Apple and Mayer Investment Group (MIG), are "to blame" for this, or whether it is politicians.
At the end of January, however, there will be a press conference with the mayor, Jan Mayer (CEO of MIG) and inGen's press spokesman. Then, hopefully (!), We will gain clarity.
